Orders are placed with Zorixo Ventures Limited, our UK company in Dagenham, Essex. The garments are made at our own factory in Tirupur, from 50 pieces per colour.
Most UK founders want the cost and capability of an Indian knitwear unit without the discomfort of sending a deposit to a company they cannot look up. That is why UK orders run through Zorixo Ventures Limited, 103 Bentry Road, Dagenham, Essex RM8 3PJ. It is a UK registered company, and it is who you contract with and who invoices you.
Nothing about the garment changes. Fabric, cutting, stitching, decoration, inspection and packing all happen at our factory in Tirupur, Tamil Nadu, under the same standard as every other order: inspection to AQL 2.5 under an ISO 9001 certified quality management system, with QC and inspection reports on request.
So the picture is simple. UK paperwork, Indian production, one team across both. You get a counterparty in your own jurisdiction and a factory you can visit, rather than a trading office with no floor behind it.

What a UK brand should sort out before the first order
None of this is difficult. It is just easier to agree at quotation stage than after the goods are on a vessel.
Agree incoterms up front
Incoterms decide where our responsibility ends and yours begins, and who pays freight, insurance and clearance. Fix them on the quotation, not in an email after dispatch.
Know who the importer of record is
Import duty and VAT on goods entering the UK are handled by the importer of record. On most of our UK orders that is the brand. Confirm it early and make sure that party is set up to do it.
Get your EORI in place
You need an EORI number to import commercially into the UK. Apply before your first bulk shipment rather than during it.
Classify the goods properly
Your customs broker classifies each garment against the tariff and works out what is payable. Rates move and depend on the product, so take that figure from your broker, not from a manufacturer's website.
Build shipping into the lead time
Our published windows cover sampling and production only. Freight and clearance sit on top. We give you a transit window for your actual route and mode when the order is confirmed.
Get the documents right
Commercial invoice, packing list and transport documents have to agree with each other. Mismatched paperwork holds goods at the border far more often than anything about the garment does.
We are a manufacturer, not a customs or tax adviser. Take advice on duty, VAT and classification from your broker or accountant before you commit to a landed cost.
How a UK order actually runs
- Brief and quotation. Tech pack or moodboard in, fabric options and unit cost back, quoted by Zorixo Ventures Limited.
- Samples. 10–22 days to make, then couriered to your UK address. Reviewed on camera against the points of measure, corrections confirmed in writing.
- Sealed sample. You approve one, and it becomes the standard bulk is measured against.
- Production. 25–55 days depending on product, quantity and decoration, with inline and end-line checks in Tirupur.
- Finishing. Labels, care labels, hang tags, polybagging and branded packaging to your spec, so stock arrives retail-ready.
- Shipping. Booked on the agreed incoterms, with documents issued to match, and the transit window confirmed for your route.
The six stages themselves are set out on the process page. Time zones work in your favour here more than most founders expect: the factory day is largely done by the time the UK morning starts, so overnight progress is normal.
